Bingo POS App Privacy Policy

Effective date: 30 July 2026

This app is developed and distributed by BSG Australia Pty Ltd and will be referred to as "We", "our" and "us" in this App Privacy Policy. By using this app, you agree to the App Privacy Policy of this app ("the app"), which is set out on this page. The App Privacy Policy relates to the collection and use of personal information you may supply to us through your interaction and usage of the app.

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to modify or remove portions of this App Privacy Policy at any time. This App Privacy Policy is in addition to any other terms and conditions applicable to the app.

We recognise the importance of protecting the privacy of information collected about users of our app, in particular information that is capable of identifying an individual ("personal information"). This App Privacy Policy governs the manner in which your personal information, obtained through the app, will be dealt with. This App Privacy Policy should be reviewed periodically so that you are updated on any changes. We welcome your comments and feedback.

About the App

Bingo POS is a staff tool used by bingo venue operators to register Bingo Play equipment and process equipment subscription renewals. It is not a consumer app, does not offer user accounts, and is intended solely for authorised venue staff.

Data the App Handles

The app processes equipment and licensing data, not personal profiles. When you register a device or process a renewal, the app reads the following from the equipment and transmits it to our licensing service:

The app does not collect names, contact details, photos, precise location, or advertising identifiers, and it contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

App Permissions

Personal Information

Personal information about users of our app is collected only when knowingly and voluntarily submitted — for example, if you contact our support service, we may collect your name and contact details in order to answer or forward your request or enquiry. It is our intention that this policy will protect your personal information from being dealt with in any way that is inconsistent with applicable privacy laws in Australia.

Use of Information

Information submitted or transmitted through the app is used only for the purpose for which it is submitted — administering equipment registrations, subscriptions, renewals and invoicing — or for such other secondary purposes that are related to the primary purpose, unless we disclose other uses in this App Privacy Policy or at the time of collection. Copies of support correspondence, which may contain personal information, are stored as archives for record-keeping and back-up purposes only.

Storage and Third-Party Processing

Equipment and licensing data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections to our licensing service hosted on Google Cloud (Firebase) and stored there as licensing and audit records. Google acts as our hosting provider and data processor; details of Google Cloud's privacy and security practices are available at cloud.google.com/privacy. We do not sell data, and we do not share it with any other third parties except as described in this policy or where the law requires disclosure.

Disclosure

Apart from where you have consented or disclosure is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was submitted, personal information may be disclosed in special situations where we have reason to believe that doing so is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against anyone damaging, injuring, or interfering (intentionally or unintentionally) with our rights or property, users, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities. Also, we may disclose personal information when we believe in good faith that the law requires disclosure.

Security

We strive to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of information submitted via our apps, and we review and update our security measures in light of current technologies. Data is encrypted in transit, access to our systems is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis, and our employees and the contractors who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by us. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure; however, we will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect the information you transmit to us.

Data Retention and Deletion

Licensing and audit records are retained for as long as the related equipment and subscriptions remain active, plus any period required for accounting and legal purposes, after which they may be deleted or anonymised. Support correspondence is retained for record-keeping purposes. To request correction or deletion of information we hold, contact us using the details below.

Access to Information

We will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any information which we hold about you, and to keep this information accurate and up to date. If, at any time, you discover that information held about you is incorrect, you may contact us to have the information corrected.

bingopos.app is a static website. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Standard, short-lived request logs are kept by our hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) for security and operational purposes.
